“At first, we pulled a lot of people out the window. And then I grabbed the fire, felt that I was about to fall, and also got out into the street”

These are the words of another hero from Kostroma, 45-year-old Sergei Vinogradov. He, along with his friends, Andrey Kuzmin, helped people get out of the burning “Polygon”.

According to his version, everything was like this: music was playing, people were dancing, and then a flash appeared – and the plastic ceiling instantly flared up. People panicked, began to run to the only unblocked exit – for the “turntable”.

Therefore, Sergei, together with his comrades, broke out the window and began to pull people out of the room. When I got out myself, I realized that the fire had burned my back and arms.
