“Their legitimacy (of the authorities – ed.) and our legitimacy are absolutely the same,” Ponomarev says, responding to fears that the delegates to the congress he organized in Warsaw represent no one. It follows from the words of the politician that the legitimacy of both the authorities in the Russian Federation and the congress in Warsaw is practically absent.
However, Ponomarev adds, he considers his mandate as a State Duma deputy to be valid, since he was illegally deprived of this mandate.
Recall that six years have passed since the end of the powers of the convocation of the State Duma, in which Ponomarev was a member.
The Warsaw Congress is now attended by deputies who were elected at various levels in previous years.
