Ukrenergo on Saturday reported that Kyiv, as well as Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv and Poltava regions of Ukraine, were forced to switch from hourly to emergency shutdowns due to large volumes of electricity consumption.
