Only 906 people were allowed to leave the occupied territories of Ukraine in a week, thousands more are waiting for their turn – Mayor of Melitopol

Over the past week, the Russian occupation “authorities” have allowed only 906 people to leave the occupied territories of Ukraine. This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov.

“Every day, residents of the occupied territories of Zaporozhye, Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk regions are trying to escape from the occupation to the territory controlled by Ukraine. In just one week, the rashists released 906 people from the occupied parts of four regions in Zaporozhye. Thousands more are waiting in line,” he said.

According to Fedorov, the Russian “authorities” are forcing people to apply for passes at the occupying commandant’s offices so that they can leave for Zaporozhye. However, the wait may take a month due to the large number of applicants. In Melitopol, writes Fedorov, the line is busy until mid-December.
