The owner of PMC Wagner Evgeny Prigozhin announced the creation militia training centers in the Kursk and Belgorod regions. This was reported in the Telegram channel "Prigozhin's Cap".
According to him, the militia should be financed by regional businesses and consist of residents of the region. At the same time, he promises to personally finance the centers themselves. “I don’t need either the federal or the regional budget, I don’t need anything,” Prigozhin said.
“If you are the owner of a small factory that employs 100 people, and 50 of them are sexually mature males, then 25% should serve in the trenches, and 75% should continue their labor activity. And so on in a circle – one week in the trenches, three at home and at work. In this case, when the enemy comes to Russian soil, all 100% will defend their country. Today, 10 people are enough for one kilometer of the line of contact. For 100 km – 1000 people. At a distance from them, inland, military units with mobilized and other objects with security forces should be located. A local resident, like no one else, knows his territories, is able to fight against the DRG and take the first blow if necessary, ”the message says.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Center for the Study and Counteraction of Hybrid Threats discovered and verified more than two hundred letters signed by Andrey Troshev (one of the leaders of the Wagner PMC) with condolences to the families of Prigozhin mercenaries recruited in Russian colonies. In total, as of mid-October, more than 500 prisoners died. The letters are accompanied by a posthumous medal “For Courage”, and the documents themselves (they are published on social networks by relatives) are neatly numbered, which makes it possible to draw conclusions about their number. The Insider was able to contact some of the relatives of those on the list of the dead. They confirmed the information that their relatives went to war from the colonies and died on the territory of Ukraine.
