Production of two new premium iPhone models – the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max – has been hit by coronavirus restrictions in China, Apple said.
The Zhengzhou factory is now operating at a “significantly reduced capacity,” the company said.
Last week, the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone entered a seven-day quarantine. Taiwan’s Foxconn Technology Park, the world’s largest iPhone factory, is located there, which created a “bubble” on its territory in October and tightened measures to combat covid, forbidding employees to leave the factory.
