Ilya Yashin’s lawyer Maria Eismont commented on the non-admission of listeners to the meeting to extend the preventive measure for Yashin. According to her, the judge was not opposed to the listeners participating in the process, but the problem turned out to be that the bailiffs simply did not let people into the courthouse.
The bailiffs in the hall did not see anyone outside the door of the courtroom, so the court ruled that no one came to the hearing.
