Rosreestr has classified real estate data of the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense, General Igor Konashenkov. The Telegram channel “We can explain” drew attention to this.
The Federal Cadastre Service hid information, including about a 96-meter apartment in the elite Smolenskaya Zastava residential complex, which is located next to the building of the Russian Foreign Ministry in the center of Moscow. According to the project, the apartment can cost from 70 million to 90 million rubles. At the same time, a year before buying real estate, Konashenkov earned 4.1 million rubles.
The now secret apartments were in the leaked Delivery Club base, Konashenkov's daughter Arina ordered food at this address. The area of the apartment from the leaks coincides with the area indicated in Konashenkov's declaration – 95.6 sq. m.
Konashenkov himself indicated in the documents that he owns the apartment with his daughter. At the same time, the channel published the extract received, where the “Russian Federation” is indicated instead of the owners. According to the FGIS, even two “Russian Federations” own the apartment, which divided it in half in August 2015.
Konashenkov has been an official representative of the Ministry of Defense since 2011, since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he has been holding briefings in which he reports on the “special operation”. In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded him the rank of lieutenant general.
In early November, it became known that Rosreestr completely classified the property of the family of the commander of the invasion of Ukraine, General Sergei Surovikin. The total estimated value of the real estate of the Surovikin family reaches 125 million rubles. Judging by the information provided in the declarations, the general earned 30.9 million rubles in two years – from 2017 to 2019, his wife – 19.7 million.
