The British nuclear submarine Victorious with Trident II missiles interrupted a secret mission in the North Atlantic due to a fire on board – she had to surface and return to her base in Scotland, the Sun writes citing sources.
According to the publication, this submarine, as a rule, carries out patrols for the purpose of nuclear deterrence, but at the time of the incident it was performing a different task.
