The Ministry of Defense stated that the losses of the marines of the 155th brigade amounted to 1% of the combat strength and 7% of the wounded, refuting the reports of military correspondents about “high and useless losses” during the attack on Pavlovka (DPR), published earlier on behalf of the marines.
“Due to the competent actions of the commanders of the units, the losses of the Marines for this period do not exceed 1% of the combat strength and 7% of the wounded, a significant part of which have already returned to duty. At the same time, enemy losses along the line of combat brigade contacts average 7 to 1, and in some areas 9 to 1 in people and equipment,” the ministry said in a statement.
