The head of the Primorsky Territory, Oleg Kozhemyako , published a video on his Telegram channel, in which the marines of the 155th brigade and the fighters of the Tiger battalion, who are located near Pavlovka, allegedly deny heavy losses and say that “everything is fine” and the situation is not so bad for the Russian military.
“Information came out that supposedly the 155th brigade of our detachment no longer exists. We want to say that the detachment is holding the line, the brigade is fighting. Unfortunately, there are losses. Yes, things are hard in Pavlovka, the fighting is heavy, there are losses – killed, wounded. But we continue to crush the enemy, ”the man insists in one of the videos.
In the second video, the man also claims that there are losses and heavy fighting, but the military allegedly "continue to crush the enemy." “We are moving slowly, maybe not as fast as we would like, but we are moving forward,” he says.
According to this information, the marines allegedly "recently left Pavlovka for a short time on rotation" – to wash and replenish supplies, and will soon go back to the combat zone.
The faces of the military are not visible on the two commercials, their voices have been changed.
Yesterday, November 7, Kozhemyako acknowledged the losses in the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet during the attack on Ugledar, but, according to him, the published data on the loss of 300 people killed, wounded and missing are "significantly exaggerated."
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky commented on the situation with the Marines. In his evening address of November 7, he said in Russian that Governor Kozhemyako "was ordered from Moscow to lie" about supposedly small losses.
“There are more than nine thousand kilometers from Vladivostok to Pavlovka, Donetsk region. But he is sure that the losses "are not like that." From there, the governor probably has a better view of how and how many soldiers from his region are sent to be slaughtered. Well, or he was simply ordered to lie. Ordered from Moscow. This is how the order to lie about Russian losses overcomes thousands of kilometers. And even the bodies of most of those killed will not be brought back to some Vladivostok. But I am sure that Governor Kozhemyako will come out and explain why not everyone arrived, not everyone returned from those “not like that,” Zelensky said.
The plight of the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet of Russia on the evening of November 6 was reported by the military commander of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Alexander Sladkov. According to him, the fighters who were near Pavlovka in the Ugledar direction handed over a letter to Kozhemyako with complaints about the command and with a request to send a commission to the place in order to stop the poorly planned and unprepared attack on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Kozhemyako, on the other hand, first stated that the appeal would be checked by the military prosecutor's office – a letter from the fighters allegedly could be "stuffed by the enemy – the Ukrainian special services."
Later, the Ministry of Defense stated that the losses of the marines of the 155th brigade "due to the competent actions of the commanders" "do not exceed 1% of the combat strength."
After information about the marines appeared in the media, the founder of the NOD, deputy Yevgeny Fedorov , suggested starting a criminal case against Alexander Sladkov for telling Kozhemyako about the letter from the marines. In his Telegram channel, he created a vote, where he proposed three options for what to do with "US spies who organized an attack on the Russian army", one of the options was the case against Sladkov. He reacted as follows: "I voted" shoot "".
