Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie: we turned to Moscow to solve the problem of gas withdrawal by Moldova, we are waiting for an answer.
Earlier, he said that without the participation of Russia, the problem with gas supplies to Pridnestrovie cannot be solved: “The problem is that Moldova takes it illegally. Russia can give more gas, Moldova will take it anyway.”
Moldovagaz announced a reduction in Russian gas supplies from November 1, while out of a total of 5.7 million cubic meters supplied by Gazprom, Moldova will receive 3.4 million, and Pridnestrovie – 2.3 million per day (by 40% less than October).
Today, the authorities of the unrecognized republic announced that in order to save gas, the work of large enterprises – the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant, the Rybnitsa Cement Plant, Tirotex and a brick plant – was suspended, and Moldavkabel and Elektromash switched to night work.
