In Novouralsk, the military commissar mobilized the deputy who won the election against him

In Novouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, a deputy was mobilized for the war, who won the local elections from the military commissar. This was reported by the publication E1.ru. 46-year-old deputy Dmitry Zakharov left his wife and two children at home.

Elections to the City Duma ended on 11 September. Zakharov – a deputy from United Russia – began to represent the second constituency. As a result, he worked in this position for about a month. The Ural agency "EAN" notes that his rival in the elections was the military commissar of Novouralsk and self-nominated Alexei Verkhoturov. He took second place in the voting.

It is impossible to speak unequivocally about the involvement of the military commissar in what happened. Zakharov's wife claims that he could have been given the summons because of a conflict at work with a certain "head of rural settlements."

“He has the most problematic area – rural areas. There is a head of rural settlements, and they had a conflict even in his first deputy. So think about why he was mobilized,” she said.

According to her, “everyone was in shock” when the summons came to her husband. “His voters began to call, write to me, they thought it was a mistake. Everything on his site stood up, nothing is being done, there is nowhere to turn. All the orders of his voters stood up, ”the woman complains.

According to the EAN source, the deputy was offered assistance in avoiding mobilization, but he allegedly said that he would go to serve.

The voters wrote an appeal to the president and to the local administration.
