A local deputy was mobilized in Novouralsk (Sverdlovsk region): his rival in the last elections was a military commissar
Dmitry Zakharov, a deputy of the Novouralsk City Duma, was mobilized on October 21. His wife surethat the mayor of the city and the military commissar, whom the head of the city supported in the last elections, are related to Zakharov’s call. At the same time, the military commissar still failed to win the elections: Zakharov won.
Also, Zakharov’s wife believes that the mayor could harbor a grudge against the deputy due to the fact that Dmitry discovered a pit near the city in which illegal gold mining was carried out.
At the same time, the press service of the local branch of United Russia stated that “deputy Zakharov went to the army without hysteria and political conflicts.”
