The pilot of the Mi-2 helicopter that crashed in the Kostroma region is 56-year-old Dmitry Vishnevetsky.
According to our information, the aircraft landed in an accident near the village of Nikolskoye, about 4 km before reaching Sokerkino airport. There was no fire after the fall. The security forces are on their way.
The air ambulance helicopter was picking up a patient from the city of Sharya to be taken to the Kostroma hospital. According to updated data, there were two crew members, two doctors and a patient inside.
