Election day in the USA from over. The last sections closed at 9 am Moscow time. There is a counting of votes, and so far everything is not so clear.
In the House of Representatives, the majority will almost certainly be for the Republicans – they still have 197 seats against 172 for the Democrats. For most, dial 218.
The battle for the Senate is heating up. The blue donkeys took the lead and so far get 48 places against 47 for conservative elephants. In the event of an equal distribution of seats in the upper house of Congress, the majority will be for the Democrats, the decisive vote will be held by fellow party Vice President Kamala Harris.
