Five defenders of the Bitsevsky forest were detained in Moscow

In Moscow on November 8, in the evening, five defenders of the Bitsevsky Forest were detained – Maxim Lubenets, Vitaly Kolesnikov, Dmitry Privalov, Yegor Baranov and Sergey Sinebryukhov. This is reported by "OVD Info" with reference to their defender Yevgeny Kurakin.

The activists staged a rally against the destruction of the Bitsevsky forest and did not allow the developer's drivers, who did not have a pass, to pass. They also called the police. Construction company workers attacked the defenders of the forest and started beating them. The police arrived and detained five activists and five construction workers.

All the detainees were taken to the Chertanovo Severnoye police department, where they took explanations from them. The attacking builders were released without drawing up protocols, and the defenders of the forest were left for the night. They are going to be charged with an article on beatings (6.1.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and an article on petty hooliganism (20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
