Ilya Farber, who tried to set fire to two military registration and enlistment offices in Udmurtia, was sentenced to 3 years and 2 months in a strict regime colony.

The Igrinsky District Court also sentenced Farber to a fine of 2,660,000 rubles.

A man tried to set fire to military registration and enlistment offices in May 2022 in the village of Igra. As a result of the first attempt, one of the rooms of the military commissariat burned out, and the second time, Farber managed to set fire to the server room, where official documentation and a card file of veterans of the Great Patriotic War were stored.

When asked about motives after Farber’s arrest, the man answeredthat he set fire to the military registration and enlistment offices to find out what he was capable of.
