Pro-Ukrainian hackers have made public the personal data of users of the Yappy application, the Russian analogue of TikTok. A database has leaked into the network, in which there are more than 2 million phone numbers, about 400k names and other confidential (in theory) information.

So now you have to pay for dancing and antics with digital security. Your data in other social networks is already spread in the lists for hacking and spam mailings.

Yappy has confirmed the hack and leak. They say: the data is anonymized and irrelevant – nicknames and phone numbers. And they do not collect surnames, dates of birth and other personal data from users at all. But when asked if the data of the app’s ambassadors — Anna Khilkevich, Klava Koka, Karina Kross, and others — were leaked, they refused to answer us.
