In Yekaterinburg, a local resident was arrested for 7 days for scans of an article recognized as “extremist”

Mikhail Erokhin was found guilty under the article on the distribution of prohibited materials (Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), writes “Mediazone”.

Yesterday, the FSB came to the young man with a search: during the investigative actions, he was asked questions about the repost of the news about the “Tyumen case” against six Ural anti-fascists and about the ownership of Crimea.

Erokhin’s wife is sure that they tried to find explosives or weapons in the apartment, but they only found a scanned copy of the Avton magazine, which contained an article “Molotov Cocktail in the Image of the President” that was recognized as extremist.

Despite the fact that the man kept the printout of the magazine at home, Erokhin was still found guilty of “distributing” the materials. The security forces decided he kept the article “for further mass distribution” on the Internet. The court agreed with this.
