The data of users of the “Russian TikTok” – controlled by “Gazprom-media” service Yappy leaked to the network
Information about the leak was first published by the channel data1eaks, and then the data was confirmed by the source “Kommersant”. In both cases, it is claimed that information about 2.6 million users was published by “pro-Ukrainian” hackers.
The leaked data is current as of July 1, 2022. Among other things, the last names and names of users, dates of birth, phone numbers, smartphone models, as well as versions of their operating system, and third-party services associated with the Yappy account were publicly available.
“Agency” informs, that the data of several people from the leaked database is relevant to leaks from other databases.
In the press service of Yappy already at the same time declaredthat “irrelevant dumps of anonymized user data” were in the public domain, and only nicknames and phone numbers of users were leaked to the network.
