Yappy (the Russian analogue of TikTok) told RIA Novosti that it was detecting hacker attacks and that outdated dumps of anonymized user data were in the public domain
They also said that they do not collect last names and other personal data from users, so no leak could lead to the risk of dissemination of such data.
