Gleb Verdiyan, a 21-year-old student, was arrested in Moscow on charges of intending to pass secret information to foreign special services – Kommersant.
The sources of Verdian’s possible receipt of such information are unknown.
The case against a student of the Astrakhan University of Architecture and Civil Engineering was opened when he was in a special detention center for petty hooliganism and disobedience to the police.
