Not forever with Russia: how Kherson was prepared for surrender

On November 9, Sergei Surovikin announced the need to withdraw Russian troops from Kherson to the left bank of the Dnieper River. This means the actual surrender of the city.

Sergei Shoigu did not hesitate to support such a proposal, adding that “the life and health of servicemen are a priority.”

In fact, preparations for the surrender took place in advance: bridges were destroyed, people were taken out, and the situation in the city was called “difficult”. Nevertheless, the propaganda did not stop until November 9th. The slogan “Kherson with Russia forever” continued to sound.
