Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions against journalist Oleg Kashin. In Russia, he is recognized as a foreign agent.
Kashin was included in the list of almost 4 thousand names and companies against which sanctions were imposed by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Such sanctions include the restriction or termination of trade operations, the suspension of economic and financial obligations, the annulment of licenses and other permits, the denial of visas and the deprivation of Ukraine’s state awards.
Since 2016, the journalist has been living in London. On June 3, he was declared a foreign agent in Russia.
