Full statement of the Ministry of Defense on the transfer across the Dnieper
▪️ today at 5 a.m. Moscow time, the transfer of Russian units to the left bank of the Dnieper was completed
▪️ not a single piece of military equipment and weapons was left on the right bank, all Russian servicemen crossed to the left bank, no losses of personnel, weapons, military equipment and materiel of the Russian group were allowed
▪️ the crossed Russian forces occupied defensive lines and positions prepared in advance in engineering terms
▪️ all civilians who wished to leave the right-bank part of the Kherson region received assistance in evacuation
▪️ At night, the enemy tried to disrupt the transportation of civilians and the transfer of troops to the left bank – the Ukrainian military struck 5 hits at the crossings with HIMARS rockets, Russian air defense shot down 28 shells, 5 more were deflected from targets by means of electronic warfare
▪️ over the past two days, the advancement of Ukrainian units in certain areas – no more than 10 km
▪️ Russian artillery and air strikes and the use of mines and explosive barriers stopped Ukrainian units 30-40 km from the area of crossings across the Dnieper
▪️ Lancet ammunition and MLRS fire destroyed 3 American M777 towed howitzers, 2 infantry fighting vehicles and 3 enemy pickup trucks for a day, more than 20 Ukrainian soldiers, 2 tanks, 2 self-propelled artillery mounts and 3 armored fighting vehicles were blown up on minefields
