Acquired Russian citizenship can be deprived of for discrediting the army, calls against territorial integrity and participation in an unwanted NGO, follows from the presidential amendment to the bill (RIA Novosti has it).
She adds to the draft articles of the Criminal Code, which may become the basis for deprivation of citizenship:
▪️284.1 “The activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organization, in respect of which a decision has been made to recognize its activities as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation”;
▪️207.3 “Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the exercise by state bodies of the Russian Federation of their powers”;
▪️280.1 “Public calls for the implementation of actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation”;
▪️280.3 “Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the RF Armed Forces in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintain international peace and security, or exercise their powers by state bodies of the Russian Federation for these purposes.”
