The GRAY ZONE Telegram channel, associated with the Wagner PMC, published a video of the execution of a Russian prisoner recruited by Prigozhin.
Presumably, this person is Evgeny Nuzhin. In early September, he surrendered to Ukrainian captivity, after which he gave an interview to Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov, where he talks about terrible conditions in the Russian army and that he wants to go over to the side of Ukraine. In October, he gave a similar interview.
The description of the execution video states that the man "suddenly disappeared from investigation in Kyiv." At the same time, Nuzhin himself says that on November 11, while in Kyiv, he received a blow to the head, lost consciousness and woke up in the basement, where he learned that he “would be judged.” At the same time, the VChK-OGPU Telegram channel claims that Nuzhin returned to Russia during the last exchange of prisoners of war.
After the convict's explanations, the video shows the actual execution, which GRAY ZONE calls the "Hammer of Retribution". A concrete block was attached to Nuzhin's head at that moment, after which an unknown person hit him on the head with a sledgehammer. At the end of the video, the inscription "Liquidated" appears. Execution with a sledgehammer was indeed used by Wagner PMC fighters, for example, in Syria. In 2019, a video appeared on social networks where they kill a man in civilian clothes.
