The story of the execution of Wagner PMC fighter Yevgeny Nuzhin is overgrown with new details. He was beaten to death with a sledgehammer for “treason”. In September, Yevgeny went over to the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and stated that he wanted to fight against the Russian army.
In the video, the recent prisoner Nuzhin, before his death, declares that he received a blow to the head on the streets of Kyiv, and woke up already in the basement, where he was announced about the execution. Israeli military expert Yigal Levin said that everything was different: Nuzhin was recently handed over to the Russian side as part of the prisoner of war exchange procedure, and after that he was beaten with a sledgehammer by the Wagnerites. Yigal Levin himself, according to him, has been in Ukraine since 2015 and since then has been teaching volunteer detachments “guerrilla warfare skills” according to the Israeli system.
A few days ago, Ukrainian officials did indeed state that 45 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had returned after the exchange. Russian Z-channels were initially skeptical about the news, they wrote that “45 fighters were given to Ukraine, and it is not clear who and in what condition they gave us; , who else.”
A little later, Russian journalist Anastasia Kashevarova wrote that “there are no closed exchanges and agreements,” and the exchange with the Armed Forces of Ukraine was carried out by the Wagner PMC. “The PMC has its own exchange fund. They don’t show their fighters,” Kashevarova said.
