Yevgeny Prigozhin suspects the governor of St. Petersburg of treason.
The creator of PMC “Wagner” sent a statement to the FSB Counterintelligence Department and the Prosecutor General’s Office with a request to check Alexander Beglov under article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “Treason”.
Earlier, Prigozhin’s press service already wrote that he demanded to check Beglov for “plundering the state budget“. At the same time, there is a long-standing conflict between the governor of St. Petersburg and the creator of the Wagner PMC. Recently, in St. Petersburg, the State Construction Supervision Authority of the city refused to commission the business space “PMC Wagner Center”.
