A court in Nizhny Novgorod decided that the call for a rally for Alexei Navalny created a threat of the spread of covid, a SOTA correspondent reports from the courtroom. The reason for the accusations was repost on the VKontakte social network, taken in January 2021. At the same time, the judge rejected the arguments of the defense that the “mask regime” was violated by the security forces, and not by the protesters.
Under the terms of the verdict, Rezontova will be prohibited from traveling outside Nizhny Novgorod and attending mass rallies. In the last word, the defendant indicated that such restrictions would deprive her of the opportunity to work, travel and engage in creativity.
