The court for the second time fined Anna Stepanova, an activist from the Arkhangelsk region, 30 thousand rubles: a “patriot” from Kotlas wrote a denunciation of her
The reason for the check was the statement of Oleg Milkov, a resident of Kotlas and a participant in the war in Ukraine, addressed to Vladimir Putin (at the disposal of the editors). In it, Milkov asked to check the quality of the work of local officials. He noted that the authorities of Pomorye allocate little budgetary funds for “patriotic education” and pointed out that in the structures “there are people far from patriotic ideology”, and also there, according to him, “there are representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora”.
Thanks to this, according to Milkov, the Arkhangelsk region has turned from a calm, balanced region into a sharply protesting one: “Social groups on the Internet, in the Arkhangelsk region, are full of comments degrading the honor and dignity of a Russian soldier and volunteer, photos of participants in a special operation with impartial degrading comments are sought out and published. Glasses of cars with the letter Z are breaking. People are beginning to be afraid to enter into a contract or volunteer for the Ministry of Defense”, – Milkov writes in a denunciation (the spelling and punctuation of the author is preserved).
Milkov also asked to bring to justice persons “engaged in undermining anti-state activities” and “block anti-state” Internet resources. “As an example,” Milkov attached to the statement several screenshots with entries and comments from VKontakte, among which were the recordings of Anna Stepanova.
The presidential administration redirected the appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and from there it went to the security forces from the Arkhangelsk center “E”. Milkov’s demand to check the officials was not of interest to the police – a protocol was drawn up against Anna in her absence, and VKontakte blocked activist account.
According to the Ukrainian portal “Peacemaker”, in addition to a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Milkov accepted participation in the annexation of Crimea in 2014 and the armed conflict in the Donbass. In Kotlas, Oleg Milkov is a member of the Public Council under the city administration, president of the local federation of bodybuilding and fitness, previously headed the Cossack society “Northern Department” and was the founder of two private security organizations.
An hour earlier, the same court fined Stepanov for 30 thousand rubles under the article on “discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” for participating in the filming of a film for a German TV channel. In August Anna emigrated to Georgia, where he runs a shelter for anti-war refugees from Russia with pets.
