The largest titanium company is asking for the return of 27 of their mobilized employees. The company says that these are unique specialists, and without them all sorties of civil aircraft are at risk – both domestic and classic Boeing with Airbus.
We are talking about the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, a titanium giant and a major supplier of products for aircraft engines. During the period of mobilization, the workers at the enterprise had a delay, because they fulfill the state defense order. But, apparently, the local military commissars turned a blind eye to this and took the men to training.
Bottom line: there is no one to replace the mobilized specialists – and some aircraft (already left without Western spare parts) will not be able to take off soon. And the company’s management turned to the governor of the region and the chief of the General Staff with a request to return employees to their native workshops.
