The Prosecutor General’s Office recognized Khodorkovsky’s organization as “undesirable” Open Press

The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has declared the French organization Open Press "undesirable". This was reported in the Telegram channel of the department.

“It has been established that its activities pose a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order and the security of Russia,” the ministry said in a statement.

The RT story claimed that Open Press was owned by Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

Employees of the Open Media project said that Khodorkovsky provided the project with a five-year grant through his Open press company.

In August 2021, the publications Open Media and MBKh Media, created by Khodorkovsky, announced the cessation of work. Roskomnadzor has blocked access from Russia to their websites.
