Today, activists of the Council of Mothers and Wives of Servicemen held a picket near the military prosecutor’s office of the Western Military District (ZVO) to draw attention to the fact that their questions were ignored by the military leadership.
The command of the Western Military District itself refused to communicate with them, offering only to hand over the “papers” (that is, the appeals of the families of military personnel).
They discussed both the sending of conscripts to the shelled border, and the lack of uniforms for the mobilized and other similar problems.
At the same time, no anti-war statements were made in the speech of the activists: it is only about dialogue with officials and correcting specific shortcomings.
Nevertheless, the recognition by the authorities of problems with mobilization, the Council considers its merit and calls not to be afraid to talk about problems.
