Slovak Defense Minister Yaroslav Nagy reacted to reports that two rockets hit Poland during a massive attack on Ukraine.
“I am very concerned about the fall of Russian missiles into Poland. Russia must explain what happened. Senseless attacks on infrastructure must be stopped immediately. Russia's recklessness is out of control. I will be in close contact with the Polish Ministry of Defense and allies to coordinate the NATO response,” the head of the Slovak Ministry of Defense.
Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the people of Poland and stated that Ukraine is ready to support the Poles. He called the incident in eastern Poland "a significant escalation" and said that "we must act."
A meeting of the Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defense under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has been urgently convened in Poland.
