The government of Zambia turned to Russia with a demand to explain the death of a former student of this country, Lemehani Nathan Nyirenda, in the war with Ukraine. The situation is complicated by the fact that the 23-year-old boy came to the war from a colony.
A MEPhI student from Zambia was sentenced in April 2020 to 9.6 years in prison under the anti-drug article of the Criminal Code.
