The Polish authorities are ready to change the constitution in order to confiscate Gazprom’s assets, a government spokesman said.
“Without changing the constitution, there is no way to confiscate Russian property and transfer it to Ukraine for restoration. This will be possible only after changing the constitution.”
“There is such a draft constitutional change in the Seimas. We are ready to submit it to a vote, but only if the opposition declares that the draft will be considered positively. So far, this has not been heard from representatives of parliamentary factions”
So far, Gazprom’s share in EuRoPol Gaz has not been nationalized, but transferred to temporary management, the government said.
