The Ukrainian ambassador was summoned to the Israeli Foreign Ministry, RIA Novosti was told in the ministry. Local publications write that the reason was the position of Kyiv when voting on UN resolutions put forward by Palestine.
The Israeli ambassador said earlier that “Ukraine’s support for anti-Israel resolutions in the UN does not contribute to trust and understanding between countries.”
