In the Oryol region, a drone blew up the oil depot of Transneft, Governor Andrei Klychkov said . This happened in the village of Stalnoy Kon, which is located more than 170 km from the border with Ukraine.

“Today at about 4 am, a supposedly unmanned aerial vehicle blew up an oil depot in the village of Stalnoy Kon. There were no casualties. All operational services are working on the spot, ”he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Photos from the attacked tank farm were published by Baza. The drone, according to the channel, crashed into tank No. 28 of the Steel Horse station, which was a quarter full. The device pierced the upper skin, there was no fire and no fuel leakage.

Klychkov did not say who owns the drone and who attacked the tank farm. The Oryol region does not border Ukraine.

The Ukrainian authorities did not comment on the information. The New York Times wrote that in winter, Ukraine could launch a covert campaign to show that the country is capable of striking back – already on Russian territory. According to the NYT, these could be sabotage and "target killings."

On November 15, Russia again launched rocket attacks on Kiev and several Ukrainian regions. Fragments of two rockets hit residential buildings. Zhytomyr, Lvov and Kharkov were attacked.
