Airports in Moscow introduced the maximum level of security, implying the presence of a direct threat – RBC

Moscow airports have confirmed the introduction of the maximum, third, security level, which implies the presence of a direct threat to the facility. It is reported by RBC with reference to the press service of Domodedovo Airport.

Since November 10, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo have also introduced the maximum level of “threat of terrorist attacks”.

The press service of Domodedovo stated that the 3rd level of security has been established, the airport is implementing "a set of measures aimed at ensuring the safety of passengers." The order came from the Operational Headquarters of the Moscow Region, the regime was introduced from 00:00 on November 10. The maximum security regime is being introduced at Moscow airports for the first time.

The introduction of the maximum level of security in Vnukovo was reported by RIA Novosti and Izvestia. A similar level of security has been established in St. Petersburg's Pulkovo, the report says. According to Izvestia, Rostransnadzor notified carriers and air harbors about the increased danger regime. In Sheremetyevo, concrete blocks appeared along the territory, and in Pulkovo – inspection at the gate.
