“Make America Great Again”. Trump announces 2024 presidential run

Former US President Donald Trump has filed an application with the Federal Election Commission for his candidacy in the 2024 presidential election, CNN reports .

“To make America great and beautiful again, today I am running for President of the United States. America's Return Begins Now!" he said during a speech at the Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

He criticized the policies pursued by "radical Democrats", referring to the administration of current President Joe Biden. He, according to him, "brought the country to the brink of nuclear war" due to the fact that he could not cope with the conflict in Ukraine. “Just today, a rocket flew into Poland, which was probably launched by Russia. People are angry and confused. They are very, very angry,” Trump said.

He claims that he will fight in a way "like no one has ever fought before" and "stop the destruction of the country." Biden, Trump says, has become “the face of corruption and the radical left.”

“I have no doubt that by 2024 things will be much worse. They will clearly see what has happened and is happening with our country. The voting will be completely different,” the ex-president said.

Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States and served in office from January 20, 2017 to January 20, 2021.
