Contract worker who passed off domestic injuries as combat injuries was sentenced to probation

Injuries received while servicing vehicles and in the bath, Alexander Doroshenko passed off as a mine-explosive wound. By deception, he tried to receive compensation from the state in the amount of three million rubles for injuries during the hostilities. The young man was found guilty under the criminal article on fraud (part 3 of article 30, part 4 of article 159.2 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to two years probation.

As writes “Kommersant” this is the first publicly known sentence to a soldier for fraud related to the war in Ukraine.
