The Israeli authorities allowed NATO member countries to provide Ukraine with weapons containing Israeli-made components. Journalist Yossi Melman writes about this in Haaretz. According to him, we are talking about the consent of the UK to supply Ukraine with fire control systems and electro-optics containing Israeli components. Tel Aviv, which has so far demonstrated neutrality, made such a decision at the request of the administration of US President Joe Biden, the journalist notes. Referring to his own sources, Melman claims that Israel itself will finance some of these supplies through intermediaries and intends to spend "millions of dollars" from the national budget on this.
The Swedish parliament also approved a record $287 million in aid to Ukraine. This is the largest defense package from Sweden to date, which includes air defense systems, personal all-terrain vehicles, personal equipment, aiming devices, tents and camouflage nets.
Finland will provide another package of military assistance to Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Defense of the country, we are talking about €55.6 million. This will be the 10th package of equipment and weapons that Finland will transfer for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion, the ministry notes. The total amount of assistance was € 160.4 million.
Treaties on the allocation of additional assistance to Ukraine were signed after the fall of a rocket in Poland on November 15, leaving two people. Mateusz Lachowski, a journalist for Polsat News in Ukraine, wrote that the wreckage that was found in Pszewoduv was part of the Russian X-101 cruise missile. At the same time, OSINT specialists, based on photo and video analysis, claim that the debris looks like part of the engine of the Soviet S-300 missile. They are in service with Ukrainian air defense.
