Residents of the annexed Crimea reported explosions in Dzhankoy

In Dzhankoy, annexed by Russia, on the night of November 16-17, the sounds of explosions were heard. Local publications write about it.

Residents of the city report that the air defense system probably went off in the city. Some write that they heard at least four explosions. Also, according to them, in the morning there were power outages in the city. The Crimean Wind Telegram channel, citing sources , writes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Russian military airfield in Dzhankoy. Russia and Ukraine have not yet commented on the explosions.

On August 16, the occupying authorities of Crimea and the Russian Ministry of Defense announced a “detonation of ammunition” in a warehouse in the village of Maiskoye, Dzhankoy district, and called the incident a sabotage. As a result of the “sabotage”, a military warehouse was damaged, as well as a power line, a power plant, a railway track and a number of residential buildings.
