On the night of November 17, the Russian military shelled Volnyansk, hitting residential buildings. This was announced by the head of the Zaporozhye regional military administration Oleksandr Starukh. As Timoshenko clarified , three families lived in the most damaged two-story house – only about ten people.
Rescuers have already dismantled about 70 tons of remnants of building structures. The State Emergency Service reported that the work will not stop at night, so it is planned to install lighting towers.
