Russian Railways refused from plans to launch Lastochka between Barnaul and Novosibirsk, which she has been trying to do since 2020.
The reason for the refusal to launch was the withdrawal from the Russian market against the backdrop of the war of a subsidiary of Siemens, which supplied wagons for the train.
Russia does not have its own high-speed trains.
