The FSB has expanded the list of open information, for the collection of which they can be recognized as a “foreign agent”

The Federal Security Service has added to the list of open information, for the collection of which the Ministry of Justice may recognize an individual as a "foreign agent". It was created in accordance with Art. 2.1 No. 272-FZ.

This is data on military activities that in one way or another relate to the activities of the Russian Ministry of Defense and "if they are received by a foreign source, they can be used against the security of the Russian Federation." There are 61 items on the list in total. 8th, for example, concerns information about mobilization and mobilization preparation. 14th – information about the "moral and psychological climate in the troops."

From December 1, 2022, the personal data of "foreign agents" will become public. They will be published directly in the register of "foreign agents" on the website of the Ministry of Justice. We are talking about the full name, TIN and SNILS, the date and reason for entering into the register. In the case of legal entities, the OGRN will also be published.
