The United States has held “intense contacts” with European allies and Zelensky’s entourage, urging caution in commenting on the missile incident in Poland, writes Politico.
Partners were required “refrain from categorical statements” until the completion of the investigation. Differences in assessments of the incident were one of the first major differences in rhetoric between Washington and Kyiv, the newspaper notes.
