At least 437 children killed during war in Ukraine – Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine

During the full-scale war in Ukraine, at least 437 children were killed, 837 were injured of varying severity. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, emphasizing that these data are not final, as the count of victims continues in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and recently liberated territories.

The Prosecutor General's Office also reports on the latest recorded cases. On November 18, in the village of Kamysh-Zarya, Zaporizhia region, Russian military shot dead a family with two children aged 5 and 14. On November 17, a 4-month-old boy, who was wounded during the shelling of the village of Tsirkuny in the Kharkiv region, died in the hospital from his injuries. On the same day, a child was killed as a result of a missile strike in the city of Volnyansk, Zaporozhye region.

Also, due to Russian bombing and shelling, 2,719 educational institutions in Ukraine were damaged. 332 of them are completely destroyed.
